Open And Closed Doors In Life

Opportunity comes in strange ways. Metaphorically speaking, people often refer to it as open and closed doors. An open door symbolizes the opportunity to go through it to what is on the other side. We don't have to go through the door but the invitation is open to do so.That is what makes life so interesting is that it is full of choices.

On the flip side however, there are the closed doors that occur in our lives. We really want the door to open but no matter how we knock or push or pull it will not open. Usually someone is on the other side controlling the door handle.It could be a job or a relationship, but whatever it is doesn't happen. So what do we do in the mean time?

One saying is that; "One one door closes, another one opens". Someone replied though and said; "yeah, but it's hell in the hallway"! Waiting on that right door can be diffficult, especially if you are unemployed. This is where your Faith is really tested.Waiting however, does build character.

I love stories of human destiny. Usually these stories involves some heartache or some other disappointment or closed door that happened in order for the right one to open. Here is a great quote to remember:
